Ah, seventh grade.
Boy trouble.
Boys are so confusing. There's not really much more to it. Also, girls are probably really confusing to boys, but that's not really the point.
Actually, girls are also confusing.
Middle school is confusing!
Well, technically, it's high school, but that's not the point...
I have it:
SEVENTH GRADE IS SO CONFUSING!!!

Middle school and me come together to create one force. This ain't gonna be pretty.

Today, I felt rich.
So this morning my mom paid me for all my chores since like April, and I got almost $40. I counted all my money in my piggy bank and I had $97.02 in there alone - I also have some money in a glass jar at my dad's. I'm saving up for a guitar. I really want to learn to play the guitar. Anyway, so after we did some chores I got out my gift card for Michael's that I got for Christmas and my mom said we could go there. So I bought some crafty stuff - a wooden box thing to paint, a tiny plant pot, and two rolls of duct tape: one with a kind of splatter-paint design, one purple. After that my mom took me to Jamba Juice where we both got smoothies. Then we went to Rubio's with my grandma and little hyper cousin (he's three years old and he acts like he just had two espressos - all the time) and then I realized I had some money left on my gift card for Barnes&Noble (also got it for Christmas) and so I begged my mom to let me go there. Everyone ended up going, and I bought a book that was a third in a series that I've been wanting for a long time. I also bought a graphic novel called Drama, and I read it twice already and I love it. It kind of reminds me of what I'm going through right now with all the seventh-grade crazies and stuff, and it was really great. Anyway, at Barnes&Noble we saw these Nooks and Nook Color things, and I wanted one. I realized I could buy that instead of a guitar, and I kind of have no idea what to do. So after going to Barnes&Noble we went to Harmons Emigration Market and bought some gelato, but I wasn't in the mood for gelato (it was really cold outside) so I got a hot chocolate instead. Yeah, and if you're wondering, I'm super full. So that was my day.
Today, I felt rich.

School is Officially Started!
So all summer I've been writing, yet I haven't even posted since school started! I guess I'm pretty busy - lots of homework.
It would take too long to explain everything. Haha.
But for the record, I feel really, really small.
I mean, going through the halls and being in classes with high schoolers will do that to you.
Yup. School is officially started.

What Started Out As A School Shopping Trip But Turned Into Much More...
I've have had a long, tiring day.
So, in the morning I just hung out and stuff, and them my mom told me that my aunt and my cousin (my cousins were visiting us from Massachusetts and this was their last day here) invited me to go shopping with them at the mall. My grandma would take me there, maybe buy some stuff and then take me home but about 1:30. I said yes, since I needed some new pants and some shoes for school. Aiden (My cousin) was going because she needed some new clothes too and this was their last chance to shop in SLC. (Let me explain a bit - Aiden is very, very, very particular. Everything has to fit just perfectly and it has to look just right and it has to feel good on just the right scale of comfort. She had gone on a few unsuccessful shopping trips and this was their last chance as they were leaving that very afternoon.) So we started out by going to Nordstrom, not really expecting to get anything - just to look, because we might as well. But then my grandma found a cute jacket and my aunt found some good clothes for work so they bought those. Then we went to Gap, and I got some bright green-blue (it's a very in color right now) skinny jeans (brightly colored skinny jeans - also in right now), a cute white top to go with it, and a pair of normal jeans (there was a buy one get one 50% off sale on jeans). Aiden - you guessed it - didn't get anything.
Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and I ordered this flatbread thing but then they were all out of the flatbread thing! So i got a tomato and basil pizza instead. The thing is, I was really hungry before, so I ate a bunch of bread and drank a lot of my drink before the food was ever there! So I was only able to finish about half of my pizza. Somehow, though, I was able to eat half of a piece of Vanilla Bean cheesecake (I split it with Aiden).
And the cheesecake - I ordered a piece of Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake for us to share, but they were OUT of it. What the heck, right?!
Then my aunt, uncle and cousins had to leave and so we said our goodbyes and me and my grandma headed over to Macy's to get some shoes.
So at Macy's we found a while bunch of shoes, and I'll spare you the details, but we ended up with three pairs of shoes: two pairs of flats (one black ,one a sort of goldish-coppery-silvery color) and a pair of bright red converse for school. The total was about $86 or $87 (for the three pairs of shoes) because the flats were way off and my grandma had a 20% off coupon that we used.
Then we were going to head home, but first my grandma wanted to just look into a couple stores. We walked around Ann Taylor for a little bit, the we wandered out. After that we went into White House Black Market.
The minute we walked in, I thought, Oh man. We are not going to walk out of here without buying something.
Everything in there was SO CUTE. So after looking around for a bit me and my grandma decided to play a little bit of dress-up.
My grandma found a whole bunch of clothes in XS and I took them into the dressing room. I tried a bunch of really cute clothes on... and then we found THE SKIRT.
It was the cutest skirt I have ever seen.
I mean, I don't even really like wearing skirts all that much. But oh man, this skirt.
We found a cute black top and a white jacket that went perfectly with the skirt and then found out that the total was... pricey. So we told the store people to put the skirt, shirt and jacket on hold and headed over to H&M to find a shirt and jacket a little less pricey.
at H&M we found this set of black and white shirts and we decided to buy them. Then while we were in the checkout line I found this cute hair clip that looked like a red flower and decided to get it because it was really cute.
Then we went over to Macy's again To look for a little jacket thing. We didn't find a white one, but we did find a SUPER cute black one in the petite section. We got that as a compromise.
I want to give a shout out to the store clerk who checked out our jacket. She was REALLY nice. I don't even know her name, but she was so kind. She was complimenting me on my looks, my confidence, how I was wise for my age... I didn't even know this woman! Anyway, if you ever meet someone like her, you are one lucky person.
After the whole jacket thing we decided to go get a purse because I didn't have one and you kinda need one by the time you're my age. So after looking at designer purses that were like $100 we finally found a reasonable priced, cute purse and bought it. And FINALLY we went back to White House Black Market and bought the amazing, awesome, SUPER cute skirt. When I got home I apologized for being seven hours late and told everyone about my day. And now it's getting late so I should probably go to bed. Night everyone!

Hey!
It's been a while since I last posted!
Okay, so a couple things I want to tell you.
AAAHHH HOLY CRAP SCHOOL STARTS IN TWO WEEKS AND I'M GOING TO A HIGH SCHOOL WHERE I WILL BE SURROUNDED BY BIG PEOPLE!
If you haven't heard of Brandi Carlile, you should look her up and listen to her music. She's AMAZING. I love her and her music so much.
I feel really unprepared for school. Usually I go school shopping a month before school starts but I need a list of things each of the teachers want me to get! I hate being unprepared.
Actually, that's all I really wanted to say. But seriously Brandi is amazing! I'm a huge fan!

Today, Yet Another Long Day (but definitely not as long as yesterday...)
So we started off this morning by marching in the Pride Parade, which was a lot of fun and we got to wave around rainbow flags and stuff like that. That took up the entire morning and into the afternoon. (Oh my gosh it was so hot you would not believe - but it was fun. We saw the Humane Society and they were holding these adorable dogs that you could adopt I fell in love <3) After that we were all pretty much exhausted and sat around chilling and watching TV and stuff. Then we went to our friend's pool and played around in the water for a while (and no matter how hard I tried I could not do a flip off the diving board. I did manage a pretty painful belly flop though.) and that took up a few hours. Then we went home and showered and did our own things. For dinner it was make-you-own-dinner night and so I grabbed some leftover pasta, threw it in a pot, let it heat up and then put some sauce on. It was okay, I guess. Then I sat around messing around on the computer and writing blog posts when I should be getting ready for bed because tomorrow is my second to last day of school! I'm most likely gonna hang out on the computer a little longer, get ready for bed, read a little, and then go to bed. So I guess that's all!

Okay one more thing I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TELL YOU AND I WILL DIE IF I DON'T
So I got onto my email first thing as I got onto my computer (because my mom took away my computer and email stops for no girl) and guess what I found?
MY TEACHER EMAILED ME AND -
Wait. I gotta back it up.
So my teacher assigned us a speech - a graduation speech. we all had to write a 2-5 minute end of the year speech and we all presented them in class and one of us would get to do our speeches in front of the whole sixth grade representing our class.
SO MY TEACHER EMAILED ME AND I GET TO BE THE ONE TO DO MY SPEECH!!!!
Can you tell I'm excited? ^_^ :D I'm so happy!!!!
So, yeah. Yay me huh!!!!!
Okay. Over and out for real :) <3

Stuff (yes I really just named my blog post that) Lots and Lots of Stuff
So today has been a LOOOOONG day.
So in the morning we went to this Breakfast in the Glen thing where you, ya know, go down to the glen and eat breakfast. So I wore this very extremely (read: not) cool hat and served people donuts.
Then after that I practiced singing/did chores, which included clearing and wiping off all surfaces of the kitchen and taking sheets and pillowcase of my bed and cleaning the bathroom. Then I went to a performance where I was asked LAST MINUTE to do a solo I had only learned by listening and barely knew the lyrics and in my mind I sounded absolutely horrible but apparently to everyone else it was great. And then we kept doing chores and after that we started to go shopping for my graduation outfit.
Now this is the start of a whole other story.
So first we went to Kohl's, and we found a SUPER cute dress and it was on SALE for 70% OFF and was only 12 FREAKIN BUCKS so of course, we bought it.
Then at the same store we found these really cute dragonfly earrings that matched the dress PERFECTLY and plus it was on sale for 60% off and it was like $16 so we bought those.
And then we started looking for shoes.
So first we looked at Kohl's and found nothing we liked. Then we looked at T.J. Maxx and once again found nothing we liked. Then we went to Ross Dress for Less and found - what do you know- nothing. THEN we went to Shoe Carnival and found something! Just kidding we found nothing. And FINALLY we went to Payless Shoe Source and FINALLY we found these super cute shoes that were like Dorothy red slippers except they were silver. And the whole outfit was almost exactly $50!! Pretty good haul.
After that we went to my mom's friend, Kristen's, birthday party and I drank two cans of Ruby Red Squirt but turns out it had caffine in it so that's why I'm up at midnight writing this. The funny thing is, I asked my mom if I could have some Dr Pepper, and she said no, you can't have caffine this late, go have some of the Squirt stuff. HAHA! HILARIOUS! Because then, we didn't know that it had caffine.
Just thought that was funny.
And that was the very very condensed version of my day.
And to top it all off, it was like 90-100 degrees all day.
Yeah, today was a long day.
And I'm marching in this parade thing tomorrow and I have to get up at like seven or some ungodly hour like that so I better go to bed! Night everyone!

Well Here Goes Nothing
Hey peeps.
So I'm graduating from elementary school in TWO FREAKING DAYS and I decided to make a new blog just for middle school. So, well, here you are.
If you're reading this, you're either extremely bored, pressured so much to read it by me that you finally did, or just plain old wasting your time. Or maybe for some odd reason you like reading about the chaos I call my life. But whatever your reason, read on.
So yeah, I'm Olivia, I'm 12 years old, and this blog is what I'm going to be working on throughout the next two years. Readers beware: I might give some very boring updates. Then again my life is hardly ever boring...
But anyway, thanks for coming to my blog!
