What Started Out As A School Shopping Trip But Turned Into Much More...

I've have had a long, tiring day.
So, in the morning I just hung out and stuff, and them my mom told me that my aunt and my cousin (my cousins were visiting us from Massachusetts and this was their last day here) invited me to go shopping with them at the mall. My grandma would take me there, maybe buy some stuff and then take me home but about 1:30. I said yes, since I needed some new pants and some shoes for school. Aiden (My cousin) was going because she needed some new clothes too and this was their last chance to shop in SLC. (Let me explain a bit - Aiden is very, very, very particular. Everything has to fit just perfectly and it has to look just right and it has to feel good on just the right scale of comfort. She had gone on a few unsuccessful shopping trips and this was their last chance as they were leaving that very afternoon.) So we started out by going to Nordstrom, not really expecting to get anything - just to look, because we might as well. But then my grandma found a cute jacket and my aunt found some good clothes for work so they bought those. Then we went to Gap, and I got some bright green-blue (it's a very in color right now) skinny jeans (brightly colored skinny jeans - also in right now), a cute white top to go with it, and a pair of normal jeans (there was a buy one get one 50% off sale on jeans). Aiden - you guessed it - didn't get anything.
Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and I ordered this flatbread thing but then they were all out of the flatbread thing! So i got a tomato and basil pizza instead. The thing is, I was really hungry before, so I ate a bunch of bread and drank a lot of my drink before the food was ever there! So I was only able to finish about half of my pizza. Somehow, though, I was able to eat half of a piece of Vanilla Bean cheesecake (I split it with Aiden).
And the cheesecake - I ordered a piece of Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake for us to share, but they were OUT of it. What the heck, right?!
Then my aunt, uncle and cousins had to leave and so we said our goodbyes and me and my grandma headed over to Macy's to get some shoes.
So at Macy's we found a while bunch of shoes, and I'll spare you the details, but we ended up with three pairs of shoes: two pairs of flats (one black ,one a sort of goldish-coppery-silvery color) and a pair of bright red converse for school. The total was about $86 or $87 (for the three pairs of shoes) because the flats were way off and my grandma had a 20% off coupon that we used.
Then we were going to head home, but first my grandma wanted to just look into a couple stores. We walked around Ann Taylor for a little bit, the we wandered out. After that we went into White House Black Market.
The minute we walked in, I thought, Oh man. We are not going to walk out of here without buying something.
Everything in there was SO CUTE. So after looking around for a bit me and my grandma decided to play a little bit of dress-up.
My grandma found a whole bunch of clothes in XS and I took them into the dressing room. I tried a bunch of really cute clothes on... and then we found THE SKIRT.
It was the cutest skirt I have ever seen.
I mean, I don't even really like wearing skirts all that much. But oh man, this skirt.
We found a cute black top and a white jacket that went perfectly with the skirt and then found out that the total was... pricey. So we told the store people to put the skirt, shirt and jacket on hold and headed over to H&M to find a shirt and jacket a little less pricey.
at H&M we found this set of black and white shirts and we decided to buy them. Then while we were in the checkout line I found this cute hair clip that looked like a red flower and decided to get it because it was really cute.
Then we went over to Macy's again To look for a little jacket thing. We didn't find a white one, but we did find a SUPER cute black one in the petite section. We got that as a compromise.
I want to give a shout out to the store clerk who checked out our jacket. She was REALLY nice. I don't even know her name, but she was so kind. She was complimenting me on my looks, my confidence, how I was wise for my age... I didn't even know this woman! Anyway, if you ever meet someone like her, you are one lucky person.
After the whole jacket thing we decided to go get a purse because I didn't have one and you kinda need one by the time you're my age. So after looking at designer purses that were like $100 we finally found a reasonable priced, cute purse and bought it. And FINALLY we went back to White House Black Market and bought the amazing, awesome, SUPER cute skirt. When I got home I apologized for being seven hours late and told everyone about my day. And now it's getting late so I should probably go to bed. Night everyone!

Over and out! <3
